We ask the owner and management for a plan to reduce unauthorized entry at Casa Lago.
The Casa Lago website advertises a "Gated community with controlled access". Willow Bridge lists "Controlled Access/Gated" as a community amenity. Its service values also say it will "take ownership of any problems that may arise". We ask that the advertised access control work at every entrance and that Willow Bridge take ownership of the continuing access problems.
The vehicle gate is open too often and is not consistently monitored. A nonresident can drive in behind another vehicle without being stopped. The pedestrian gate does not work, so people can walk onto the property at almost any time. Someone can also enter from the neighboring community by climbing over the fence.
Please inspect all entrances, gates, and the fence. Tell residents what will be repaired or replaced, whether another access system is needed, and when the work will be done. Residents have already reported gate problems and unauthorized entry through maintenance requests, emails, and conversations with management. The problems continue, leaving residents to notice, report, and deal with them. The plan should explain what management will do to fix them and prevent them from recurring.
The plan should explain how residents, invited guests, deliveries, people with disabilities, and emergency responders will get in. It should also say whom residents can contact about unauthorized entry, what help they can expect, and how management will report progress.
Bathroom keypad locks add another step for residents. More lighting and a different security company may help with some problems, but none of these measures keeps unauthorized people from entering the property. Residents should not be the main way the property detects and responds to unauthorized entry. The owner and management need to secure the entrances and take responsibility for a lasting fix.

We ask for immediate, temporary security on Paseo Corvus in response to recurring disturbances and safety concerns residents attribute to one household.
Residents report that management says an eviction is underway. A pending eviction does not address nighttime noise, blocked garage access or unsafe driving in the meantime. Residents describe a known, nightly problem; the burden of managing it should not fall on them. We need concrete action now.
The owner and management must protect residents and guests while any eviction process continues. This measure complements the access-repair petition.
