County pool complaints
San Diego County DEHQ oversees apartment pools and spas. You can report observed health or safety concerns such as:
- Cloudy water that hides the bottom, algae, or fecal contamination.
- Filtration that is not running, a damaged drain cover, or a spa emergency shut-off that does not work.
- A gate that does not close and latch, missing rescue equipment, or broken glass or electrical hazards.
A pool that feels colder than promised is a useful management report. The County checklist gives a 104°F maximum for heated water; it does not list a minimum.
What happens next?
Keep your reference and check for a response. For a condition needing a formal maintenance request, use management's portal or call the office. For pool sanitation or safety, you can also contact the County pool program.
This form asks for a location, selected problems, and optional details. It does not ask for your name, email, or unit. The site and service providers may process ordinary technical and security data. A relay reference is not proof of management receipt or resolution.
